The action continues into the evening at Surfside with Cal Expo harness racing and quarter horse racing from Los Alamitos. Admission is free for night racing on Thursdays and Sundays.

Cal Expo features:
- Guaranteed $10,000 Pick Fours early (Races 2-5) and late (Races 9-12).
- $2.00 Pick Five wager on races 4-8, also with a $10,000 guaranteed pool.
Los Alamitos quarter horse racing runs Thursday through Sunday nights, with the first post ranging from 5:30PM to 7:15PM, depending on the night of the week. Races from other tracks around the country also are shown these nights.
Los Alamitos features:
- Guaranteed $75,000 Early Pick Four Friday through Sunday. $50,000 Early Pick Four every Thursday.
